  1. P_Toggle is a Win 3.0 utility to:

  3. ╗ select default printer from list
  4. ╗ toggle between portrait/landscape modes
  5. ╗ toggle between letter/legal sizes
  6. ╗ graphically display all current settings
  7. ╗ automatically updated by other apps
  8. ╗ all commands accessable by mouse.
  9.  
  10.  
  11. P_Toggle is easy to install! Run it as any other program,
  12. or add it to WIN.INI "LOAD=" or "RUN=" lines.
  13.  
  14. Select app (highlighted title bar) and press F1 for help.
  15. (Or choose "Help" from system menu.) 
  16.  
  17. LIMITS:
  18.  
  19. ╗ P_Toggle can NOT use older drivers that do NOT support
  20.   Microsoft's recommended EXTDEVICEMODE functions. You
  21.   must update driver to a version that supports it in
  22.   order to use P_Toggle. P_Toggle gives an appropriate
  23.   message and exits if the driver is incompatible.
  24.   (Sorry, there's nothing I can do about other drivers!)
  25.  
  26. ╗ P_Toggle's display can NOT be updated by other Apps that
  27.   do NOT update both the resident WIN.INI (in memory -
  28.   NOT the disk file only), or do NOT update the DEVMODE
  29.   structure in memory. Again, this is NOT the fault of
  30.   P_Toggle.

  32. NOTE:
  33.  
  34.   If you are one of those people who INSIST on manually
  35.   changing WIN.INI(such as with 'notepad'), then after
  36.   your changes are saved to disk (WIN.INI), run the
  37.   enclosed utility "INI_UPDT.EXE" to copy it into your
  38.   memory. This is an excellent idea anyway, as your changes
  39.   may NOT be saved if another app modifies WIN.INI.
  40.   THIS MUST BE DONE AFTER EVERY SAVE in order to keep the
  41.   information current.

  44.   THIS SOFTWARE IS FREE AND MUST BE DISTRIBUTED WITHOUT
  45.   CHARGE (with the exception of nominal copying fees).
  46.   ANY DISTRIBUTION MUST INCLUDE P_TOGGLE.txt (this file),
  47.   P_TOGGLE.EXE, AND INI_UPDT.EXE, WITHOUT MODIFICATION.
